The fund, which is a partnership between The Prince’s Trust Aotearoa New Zealand, The Ministry of Youth Development, business and taiohi, was launched by the Minister for Youth, Priyanca Radhakrishnan on May 9th.
His Majesty the King addressed guests at the launch of the $2M He Kākano seed fund, for young entrepreneurs, at Auckland in May.
He said, "it is crucial young people get the right support, and He Kākano’s integrated approach to training, mentoring, funding and networking will provide backing that is so vitally needed in Aotearoa New Zealand."
